Back glass is the pane that punishes a rushed job most quietly. The defroster grid is printed into it and takes power through contact tabs at both edges, and on many cars the radio antenna sits in the same printed layer. A tab that has not seated cleanly leaves you with a car that looks completely finished and never clears the rear window, discovered weeks later on a frozen morning. Side windows are quicker, but the hidden work decides how the car feels afterward.
